About Right is Wrong:

In RIGHT IS WRONG, Arianna Huffington details how we have been spun and talking-pointed to a new national low. RIGHT IS WRONG takes a hard look at how the GOP has been co-opted by its fringe outlines its success in pushing forward a narrow agenda, and offers a blistering indictment of President Bush and the American mainstream media.

The political tides have shifted. What used to be considered "left" or "liberal" positions have now become part of the mainstream, while the views of the right—currently under the sway of people who don't believe in evolution but do believe in torture—are at odds with the majority of the American public.

Huffington points an accusatory finger at the media, which she says is hopelessly addicted to the false belief that every story has two sides, and that the truth is supposed to be found somewhere in the middle. But not every story has two sides and the truth is often found lurking in the shadows. The earth is not flat. Global warming is a fact. And Iraq is our generation's greatest foreign policy disaster. Period. Full stop.

And Huffington isn't afraid to name names, directing her greatest scorn not at FoxNews or the blowhards of talk radio, but at the high-profile enablers in the supposedly liberal media, including Tim Russert and Bob Woodward.

Huffington's "take no prisoners" approach spares few on the political front lines, including John McCain, whose stances on many of today's issues deviate little from those of the Bush administration. She calls McCain "the Trojan Horse the Right desperately needed to put a faux maverick, faux independent, faux straight-talker imprint on the same ruinous policies that have taken us down this dark road."

From taxes to torture, stem-cell research to flawed energy policies, and Iraq to Iran, Huffington addresses each issue with facts, indignation, and a very healthy dose of wit
