Join DL21C'ers Monday night as we welcome Rebecca Traister, senior writer at Salon.com, to discuss her new book "Big Girls Don't Cry" -- what the New York Times called "a colorful, emotional argument that the 2008 election gave feminism a thrilling 'new life.'”

Rebecca was a groundbreaking reporter who covered the 2008 Presidential election, and Big Girls Don't Cry chronicles the journeys of both Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin, as they ran for President and Vice President in 2008.

Moderated by Irin Carmon from Jezebel.com, this promises to be a lively discussion about gender, politics, and the future of women candidates in 2012 and beyond.

After the discussion, Rebecca will sign copies of her book, which available for purchase at the event. And it's only steps from the subway -- hope to see you there!
