No Momma’s Boy is Dominic Carter's first book. The veteran newsman has been described as New York’s best political reporter working in television today. He has appeared on the cover of the New York Times TV Guide, and in a second profile the Times called him "a force to be reckoned with."
Dominic received widespread acclaim for his role as moderator for a series of state-wide debates in 2006, including critical debates for governor, U.S. Senate and state attorney general. During the first debate with Senator Hillary Clinton, he made national broadcasts as Clinton admitted for the very first time that she was thinking about running for President.
A young boy who would one day grow up to be an award winning television journalist who would also go toe to toe with "America's Mayor Rudy Giuliani and face to face with President Clinton and the like - first had to survive one of the most heart wrenching child abuses cases in New York City in the early seventies. Sadly, his tormentor was his own mother. His life story is one of dealing with a mother suffering from mental illness, child abuse, and the power to overcome anything.
